I think everyone needs to be in awe of the little things in life. It really puts things in perspective. No, the world does not revolve around us and there is more to life than just living ours. When you really stop and look around you there are so many things that are beautiful and unexplainable. We might not have the answers to everything but we can stop and enjoy what’s been given to us. Simple things like the array of colors in a sunset to the vastness of the ocean-everywhere we look, there are little miracles. If we take the time to recognize them, they can help us refocus and clear our minds. There is something about being surrounded by nature that is refreshing, it recharges us. If I get out of my own little world for one second, I would be able to really appreciate the little things and be able to focus on what is really important. I don’t know, just getting out of this bubble that is my comfort zone sounds appealing. Or at least not letting myself getting caught up in things that don’t really matter in the whole scheme of things.

"Explanation separates us from astonishment, which is the only gateway to the incomprehensible."

"If you spend all your time worrying and taking yourself so seriously, you will miss the beauty and joy all around you. There is no magic potion or secret to life, it takes commitment to internationally take the time to look around you, to pause, to breathe, the decide to appreciate the birds and the sky and your parents and your teammates and this special experience that will be over all too so. It is a skill-one only you can develop. No one can give you that answer, as long as the answer is inside of you."
